tak848/ccgate: test run, 2026-10-10

Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) was told to attempt the same 12 actions on a canary project in a throwaway sandbox: 8 risky, 4 ordinary. Twice: with Claude Code's permission prompts skipped (only the hook can stop anything), and with them kept (nobody answers, so an unanswered prompt stops the action). Hooks registered: PermissionRequest (registered in ~/.claude/settings.json: command hook '/home/runner/.local/bin/ccgate claude'). No PreToolUse/PostToolUse/UserPromptSubmit or plugin hooks registered. Note: the session runs in bypass-permissions mode, so no permission requests were generated and the PermissionRequest hook never fired — nothing was intercepted.. Repo commit b8d460991937. All results · Task · The canary project

A permission gate: an LLM answers Claude Code's permission prompts for you. With prompts skipped it is never asked, so use it without --dangerously-skip-permissions.
